Teddy Bear’s Picnic

A day of family fun!
Is your teddy brave enough to face the church tower zip wire? Or why not bring your teddy dressed in their holiday outfit? There will be designated picnic areas and a special children’s picnic buffet available from the church cafe. Or if you prefer, you can bring your own picnic basket along.
As well as a bouncy castle, there will be stalls galore selling a vast array of locally-sourced family goodies. In addition there will some family activities to entertain.
The day wouldn’t be complete without the delicious food that Settle Church are renown for. The BBQ will be fired up from 10 am for bacon butties and burgers and hot dogs will be available from 11.30 am.
The ancient area of the churchyard is soon to commemorate ‘the forgotten children’ and there will be a display explaining what it is all about as we launch the campaign to bring this to fruition.
