Are you a poet or interested in writing poetry?

Come to this immersive and friendly workshop where we’ll explore the theme of childhood. Using prompts from modern and contemporary poetry we’ll craft our own poems in a friendly and supportive group.

All levels welcome.

The workshop leader, Laura Strickland is a poet, carer and MA Poetry graduate of Manchester Met. Her work has appeared in several poetry journals and she was listed in the National Poetry Competition 2023.

This is a fundraising event for the Children’s Memorial at Settle Churchyard. Tickets are limited and are available by calling 01729 825955 or via email. The event includes light refreshments.
