Service of Light

EASTER EVE – The Service of Light proclaims the resurrection of Christ from the dead in word and action, in silence and sound. We begin by gathering around the Easter fire where the Easter Candle will be lit. This symbolizes Christ, the light of the world. The light is then carried through the church and progressively passed to the whole congregation.
