The PCC of Holy Ascension is keen for Settle’s parish church to be seen as an asset by its local and wider community. Whilst built as a place of worship, the building makes an excellent venue for concerts, talks, meetings and events.
Main Hall & Refectory Area
The hall/nave seats up to 200 people in fixed pews and has plenty of loose chairs and tables for informal arrangement in the Refectory area at the back. Staging is available for concerts, talks and presentations.
Kitchen
Our kitchen was enlarged and completely updated in 2019. It is fitted with two ovens, induction hob, large warming cabinet, microwave, large refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and boiling water tap. A wide selection of crockery and cutlery is also available.
Upper Room
Our upstairs meeting room is currently undergoing some refitting and redecoration. Accessibility is an issue that is also being addressed, but it is otherwise ideal for meetings, training, activity groups etc. There is a small kitchenette to one end, plenty of chairs and tables, adequate power, wifi and a toilet just across the landing.
